Shoulder Arthroplasty with the Ideal Length Humeral Stem

In a procedure broadcast to attendees at ICJR’s 8th Annual Shoulder Course, Joaquin Sanchez-Sotelo, MD, PhD, from Mayo Clinic, performs an anatomic shoulder arthroplasty on a 71-year-old male patient with primary glenohumeral osteoarthritis in his left shoulder.
The patient reports pain of 6/10 and has a subjective shoulder value of 60%. He has elevation of 130°, external rotation of 60°, internal rotation to L1, and normal strength.
